"A lovely rustic place near Elvas, albeit a bit off the beaten track. Very comfortable. Recommended."

Breakfast was really excellent - fresh juice, a dish of lovely fresh fruit, scrambled eggs and lots of bread and her home-made cake.

What an amazing find, breakfast and dinner were fabulous. We loved it and Elvas is such an amazing little town with loads of history,w e will be back to explore further, 1 night not enough.

An absolute gem of a place. Small but beautiful facilities, lovely scenic and tranquil location, and the lady proprietor mad us the most fantastic meal in the evening and not expensive. Breakfast was also good. She could not communicate in English and we could not in Portuguese but we all tried our best and got by. The most fantastic bottle of local wine which was one of the best wines we have ever had and we have not been able to source locally to where we are now. All just perfect and a perfect stop-off place between France and Portugal.

There was nothing that we did not like.

A small gem just outside Elvas! Beautiful house and rooms. We were very well received and had one of the best dinners on our trip! Real homemade local food at its best. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice.The hostess/owner was so friendly and you immediately felt at home.
