Zimmer war nicht fertig. Zum Empfang war nur die Putzfrau vor Ort, die total gestresst war und kein Wort englisch sprach. Die Inhaberin hat uns dann den Abend über genervt mit irgendwelchen Kurtaxe-Gebühren für den Ort (der so langweilig ist, dass man sich fragt wieso man überhaupt dort hin geht). Der Preis auf booking.com war angegeben inkl. aller Gebühren und Abgaben. Von einer zusätzlichen Kurtaxe war nicht die Rede, was bei anderen Unterkünften schon der Fall war. Booking.com hat mir hierzu leider auch keinen Auskunft gegeben. Sobald ich eine adäquate Rechnung der Vermieterin für die Kurtaxe erhalte, zahle ich die Kurtaxe durchaus. Ansonsten – so nicht!

Amazing experience,i like that the owner of the property goes above and beyond to make the customers happy, i love the nice high quality sheets of the bed, the mattress, the towels and pretty much everything as it looks like the owner went the extra mile to provide the best experience.Nice breakfast also too!

Shared bathroom

It is our second time here. We just love the place, an old villa, close to Verona. They have plenty of free parking place. If you have a car, you can easily reach the center of Verona in 15 minutes. There is a small typical Italian coffee shop just around the corner and many terraces at a 5 minutes walk, in the old town of Grezzana. You have a kitchen, dishwasher, coffee, snacks (croissants, jam, Nutella) at the accommodation. Each floor has its own bathroom and you have an additional one at he ground floor. The villa has a terrace, where you can smoke or have a drink.

the bathroom was external, it was cold in the common areas (I was provided with space heaters for the bathroom and bedroom). I was told that I would be the only guest so I need not worry about going from the bedroom to the bathroom. but at 8:15 in the morning the cleaning lady came and hearing doors open woke me up. who did I encounter while going to the bathroom but the cleaner. I would not have booked if I had known the bathroom was external. the person who met me to give me the keys said it was in the reviews, but I read all the reviews given on the first page. this fact is not in the description written by the owner and should be. it should be in the title like in many other places available on Booking. “deluxe double room with private external bathroom” I did not feel safe that the front door opened with a code which every guest receives- especially since the door of the bedroom had a keyhole to lock it only from the outside- inside only a knob to turn and no way to block the door from being opened. I was alone and felt unsafe as a solo female traveler. especially when I was awoken in the morning by hearing doors open and banging in the room above me - when I had been told I would be the only person in the house.
