Essen phänomenal, sehr leckere Hausmannskost, sehr reichlich - einzigartige Umgebung, einfache, aber funktionale Ausstattung - passend zur Alm. Sehr herzliche Gastgeberin. Urige Almküche und einfachste Ausstattung- wie früher :-) grandiose Umgebung, Ruhe und Frieden in toller Natur. Für uns kein Problem - man erreicht die Unterkunft nur per 4x4 oder zu Fuß. Tolle Wanderung vom See aus, für geübte Wanderer gut machbar (ca. 2 Std)

We loved this authentic Ekocatun. It is a beautiful place, reachable with a 2 hour hike through the magnificent forest from the lake. Sloba is a great and very friendly host. She cooked excellent and plentiful food that the whole family loved. Thanks so much for showing the children how to milk cows. We liked this place a lot and hope to come back one day.

This is a truly magical place. It is in a small village in the mountains with a beautiful view. Sloba is the kindest and sweetest host there is, and she will cook you the best food you will eat in all of Montenegro. The portions are big, the food is delicious, and she gives you all the slivo you can wish for. If you have luggage, I recommend trying to fix a transfer because it is heavy climb from Biogradska lake and takes about 2 hours.

Kindness of the all family Peace and love nature

We loved the remoteness of this place. Only accessible by hiking or 4x4, we were the only guests here. We were warmly welcomed by the host lady and were surrounded by farming activities going on around us. Ask if you can come when the cows are being milked at 7am! It’s very rustic but clean, the shower was very basic but very clean, super hot and great pressure. The food was amazing, and huge portion sizes. We absolute loved it, highlight of our 2.5 month trip so far!

We also liked the fact there was no wifi 😉

The whole valley where the stay was located was absolutely charming. It was quiet, peaceful and very relaxing. Our host was extremely welcoming and hospitable. She didn't speak much English, but we were able to communicate just fine. The rooms themselves, the chalet and a double cabin, was fine. They were far from fancy, but did the trick. The food was so good, and there was plenty of it! The showers were hot, and the bathrooms were fine.

While the food was absolutely delicious and filling, and we wouldn't have done anything different, we weren't given the price of it before hand. For six adults, dinner and 6/7 beers, it cost 125 euro. So, just be sure to bring enough cash.

Great experience in a exceptional location. Loved all the animals. Very friendly staff and excellent food. Expect basic facilities but unique experience.
