lovely location and so interesting to be in the heart of old stone house village and experience traditional lifestyles and ways of living!

some aspects about the way the house was renovated didn’t work too well and we didn’t have hot water at first but the host assisted immediately and was so lovely and warm and welcoming!

Amazing location, just above Seia and perfect for exploring the the Serra. Very friendly owner.

The whole cottage was small, we struggled with 4 adults, there was too much furniture and "stuff", the toilet was impossibly difficult to sit on. No kitchen sink plug, the bathroom sink plug was broken, doors scraped the floor or needed lifting to open and bathroom door looked like a dog had been locked in and scratched to try to get out. Generally in need of a complete updating. The breakfast 32 euros for 4, was just stuff from the supermarket, save yourself some money and bring it with you.

"Perfectly Portuguese traditional home!"

Absolutely charming traditional mountain home with wonderful host. Our 4-bedroom chalet was the perfect size for our family of six (and our three dogs) to relax comfortably, with everything one would need to feel at home. The endless trails and rocks nearby were perfect for our nature-loving kids to explore to their heart’s content. The chalet is centrally located so that many of the regions popular attractions are a short drive away. I highly recommend a visit to the Museu do Pão, they have a wonderful hands-on kids exhibit we thoroughly enjoyed!
