Wild fig Cottage

We stayed 6 nights, and we had everything we needed right there. The view is to die for and there are multiple seating options outdoors to enjoy it. There is wifi which catered for all our other entertainment needs.

Quiet and tranquil location.

Beware of spiders

The views and quietness. The birds waking you up in the morning. Having breakfast and dinner outside. The stars!

There were alot of "duisenpote"

This was the fourth time I stayed here. Beautifull venue and not bothered by the hosts which I like as I am a private person.

Keeping in mind that this is up the hill in Sedgefield and the beatifull view is second to none, i would suggest a good doom fogger every now and then. On this stay I encountered a hoard of baby spiders on the ceiling of the bathroom and the main bedroom. I slept on one of the single beds in the spare room. I was alone on this stay but if my wife and kids were with I would have had to look for alternative accomodation. This is in no way a hygiene complaint but an enviromental issue that can be remedied.

Cozy and lovelly cottage with a great view. Everything was very clean and the kitchen was well equiped. Cooking is possible even with longshedding due to the gas stove. We would have stayed longer if we had the time. Late check in was no problem. Communication with the owner via WhatsApp was perfect.

Absolutely everything!

No coffee, tea and milk😖 We didnt bring any as we are used to overnight places having just a small hospitality hamper.

The quietness of the area, the beautiful scenery was absolutely what we needed to switch off. The cottage is fit with everything needed to make our stay comfortable and without worry. A definite return on the cards in the near future.

There is nothing I didn't like.
