Lavender Hill Country Estate and Wedding Venue

The staff were extremely helpful and accommodating. We were allocated a room and when we viewed it we realised that the lighting was really poor, you could hardly see inside the room. The staff arranged for a few brighter spotlights to be fitted which helped enormously. The room was very spacious and furnished with style and thought but due to the (integrated bathroom) we would not choose this type of room again. We would stay there again but choose a different room without the integrated bathroom. The restaurant was good, and the breakfast was delicous with lots of choice, all beautifully and professionally presented and served by friendly staff. We could not fault the staff, they were all extremely helpful, professional and friendly.

The room we were allocated had a toilet which didn’t have walls to the ceiling. Our bed was just the other side of it. This meant that there was no privacy regarding sounds and smells, this was not pleasant. Also, the lighting for the room was poor. To use the bathroom when it was dark entailed having to put all the lights on in the room, there is no separate lights to the bathroom, a bad design.

Spacious , clean , convenient

Large grounds and unit was standalone which meant that there was privacy. Restaurant on site and it was excellent

The common areas are quite dated and need a revamp. Was there 6 years ago and it still has the same wall paper etc
