I cannot speak highly enough of this place. This definitely made our trip to Romania and Maramures special! We stayed in the old house and it is gorgeous. The garden is lovely, peaceful, and has chickens and hammocks. The family was so kind and welcoming! We had dinner and breakfast there and everything was locally produced and the food was incredible! The best we had of our entire trip in Romania. My only regret is that we could not stay longer! :)

The room could have curtains that blocks the light a bit more. If you are a light sleeper, I would recommend to bring an eye mask. The address listed on the Booking website sent us to another village. This isn't the hosts's fault, but this is to be taken into consideration. Tip: Search the house name instead of the address :)

Super beautiful suroundings , very kind hosts, a lovely garden to relax in, excellent food , home cooked and made from local products . Very welcoming hosts who went out of their way to make us feel good. A really wonderful magic experience in the Rural Rumanian Country side. A must have experience ❤️❤️

Really warm welcome. We felt immediately at home, the food was authentic and more than enough and we had real nice chats with the hosts. The real local Romanian experience in Maramures. Lovely people.

The hosts were amazing. They gave us the feeling of home and the feeling that they would share with us everything they have. They are kind, friendly, welcoming, they don’t hesitate to show you around and to show you their traditions. The food was really tasty. The room we stayed in had a traditional accent, but was also modern. We had all the facilities we needed. We will most definitely come again.

My husband and I have traveled extensively private and business. There are many places that I would go for second time and a few where We would keep both the place and its owners in our hearts. This is one of those places. Set in a green hilly idyllic village, with huge wooden carved gates and, the property consists of 2 buildings : onE small Traditional house where we stayed and another newer. The courtyard has plenty of space for both adults and children as well as parking places. The room is nicely decorated with country specific cloths, yet spotless clean and well mentained. The food is amazing, everything home made including butter and cream. Do not miss the opportunity to have at least breakfast there. We thank the owners for welcoming us in their home and making us feel part of their family!

Everything was great! - Location, - Food, - Staff, - Room, - Traditional drink: Horinca. A place where you relax and enjoy the beauty of the traditional Maramures.

We spent three days in this magnificent accommodation in Maramues. The food is excellent, homemade and abundant. The garden is beautiful and the owners are charming. An unbeatable place to get to know the Maramures region.

Breakfast and dinner were very good, local food prepared with much love by the lady of the house. The hosts are extremely warm and sincere, they make you feel like their own, very well accepted at their place. They are very nice people!
