Certains ustensiles de cuisine seraient à changer (revêtement poêle bien abîmé)/ quelques torchons auraient été les bienvenus/ un seul étendoir à linge pour 3 logements

Ubytování nabízí velký prostor pro sezení, hraní, koupání i opalování. Skvěle vybavené pro hry (fotbal, ping-pong, šipky, volejbal atd.), hezké koupání v řece. Apartmán standardně vybavený, nic nám nechybělo. Šumění řeky je stále přítomné, nám se to moc líbilo. 10 min chůze na vlakové nádraží (vlak není slyšet).

Větší vlhkost v apartmánu, ale je to způsobeno blízkostí řeky. Vůbec nám to nevadilo, lze řešit puštěním klimatizace.

Private location with lovely waterfall, swimming pool, verandas, table tennis and lots of space for people to gather and even have some solitude amidst nature. Property Manager and staff were all so pleasant and friendly.

Seems to be an issue with ants in the kitchen so had to ensure we kept it very clean and sealed everything (but then we were surrounded by nature!). Other than that, great experience.

Need to follow Quinta Do Rua Sousa to find this property on Sat Nav. We drove to the property following one route with narrow cobbled windy roads ( width of 1 car), but exited via a much easier route where we passed quite a few bars, restaurants and shops (7 min drive). There is nothing within walking distance. Property directions have no reference to “Dream Corner by Waterfalls”, as listed on Booking.Com, you are met with two white electronic gates. However, when you are there, it fits the description of the property and it’s surroundings - it is beautiful. When you arrive at the property, the Bell is situated on the gate of property No. 102 ( not 112).You are likely to be met by the owner ‘Osario’ and his dog, who will then let you into next electronic gate No. 114 which is the actual property. You can drive to the rooms to unload luggage, then park in close-by different area about 100mtrs away. Osario speaks Portuguese and Spanish - very little English. Other staff ( gardener and housekeeping) are very pleasant and engaging. Our room was beautiful with modern bathroom, mini-fridge, lovely comfortable bed&pillows, luxury organic toiletries including salt scrub. Efficient A/C, only thing you can hear at night is the river fast- flowing. We also had exclusive use of a separate fully fitted kitchen (no oven), inc coffee machine, kettle, microwave, hob etc. Attention to detail is special to this place. There is a separate building with washing machine, ( inc. detergent and fabric conditioner), plenty of places to naturally dry your washing. There is also a charcoal BBQ inc coals and utensils, a swimming pool overlooking the river with sun loungers, lots of seating areas within the gardens with comfy outdoor furniture/ gazebos. You are given pool towels too. My husband went fishing for the morning and caught a few small bream, our dog was able to roam free and made use of the large fields at the side of the buildings.

We had a very warm welcome by the owner and his son. He even took us to the supermarket upon arrival as we didn't have a car. The location is beautiful with the fruit trees and waterfalls in the river. The kids loved to play in the river and catch some fish and lobsters.

Some of the facilities are a bit outdated, the bathroom could use some maintenance.

The property is directly on the river, our room overlooked the waterfalls. The facilities, the outdoor spaces of the property. Comfy bed. Nice bathroom. Lovely pool (un-heated). It was gorgeous. We even spent time in the river. Lovely staff.

The rooms are damp because of being right on the river so you need to use the dehumidifier almost the time but they provide the dehumidifier!

We enjoyed our days In Quinta do Rio Sousa very much, especially on nice and sunny days. It is a good situated place to have all the possibilities around: Porto, the coast and lots of hiking or biking in the countryside. Specially the way, how we were taken care of, was very friendly, with quick responses and good recommendations.

One should be prepared against the mosquitoes, with so much water of course there are quite some around. A mosquito net around the bed would be a good investment. And what is important to know for those, who love it quiet: that the waterfalls can be quite loud, specially, when it has rained a lot.

We loved the attentive staff and thoughtful extras like night lights in the bathroom and ample power points for phone charging

Not too much at all as they were so lovely and the location so great. Rooms have a bit of a damp feel to them being so close to the water
