Uros Quechua`s Lodge Titicaca

Everything! Manuel and his family are amazing hosts and will help you with everything you need. He took us on a tour around the floating islands and I cannot recommend it more - very interesting! He also helped us with transport to and from the islands, helped us book a tour to Amantani, etc. The breakfast was amazing and the room was really nice as well. Super comfortable bed with thick blankets for the cold nights and a little heater to heat up the room. There is a balcony attached on which you can have your breakfast and lounge on the daybed, watching life on the lake go by. We absolutely loved our stay (2 nights) here and would come back in a heartbeat!

Wir haben zwei Tage bei Manuel und seiner Familie verbracht und können es absolut weiterempfehlen! Manuel hat uns vom lokalen Hafen abgeholt, das Essen war sehr lecker (faire Preisen) und die Familie lebt sehr ursprünglich auf den Schilfinseln. Das Bad ist standardmäßig ausgestattet (Toilette, Dusche, Waschbecken) und es gibt warmes Wasser. Manuel hat am Abend sogar noch eine Sonnenuntergangsfahrt mit uns unternommen und uns einige Hintergrundinfos zum Leben der Uros vermittelt. Kein Touri-Ort mit großem Schnickschnack, dafür ein absolut authentisches Erlebnis!

It is certainly a nice experience to stay overnight on the Island. The view from the bed through the large window was exceptional and the terrace fantastic. The room was nicely decorated, hot water in the shower! The food was also great and Jenny and Manuel nice hosts. Thank you for arranging the kayaks and having the nice breakfast (with fruits and granola!) on the terrace.

The only thing I can think of is the instant coffee.

Very unique stay on a floating island with the families that live there! Host was incredibly kind and helpful and the accommodation was even better than we expected given how remote it is.

Nothing it was lovely!

L'originalité du logement sur l'eau Être au cœur de Uros

Le "business" de Uros et de leurs communautés : cet hôtel ne fait pas exception. A Uros, tout est bon pour essayer de soutirer un maximum d'argent aux touristes quitte à facturer davantage les paiements CB ou faire payer 30 soles le transfert en bateau - soit 60 soles aller retour - alors que l'hébergement n'est déjà pas d'un bon rapport qualité-prix.
