Vriendelijke ontvangst, mooi en schoon appartement vlakbij Assisi. Geweldige en rustige ligging met uitzicht op de groene omgeving. Absolute aanrader.

The peace and quiet of the environment. The apartment was absolutely perfect for our needs. Paolo, his wife, and Laura were so friendly and helpful!

Nothing

The staff was the most helpful group of people I've ever met, especially when it came to figuring out transport. It was so peaceful, so beautiful, and so quiet (except for the birds!). Breakfast was a real good value for 10 euro. Great water pressure in the shower and the water got nice and hot. I also loved making an espresso every morning with the little moka pot provided. Lovely stay.

The only thing I'd be aware of is the cabs charge a lot to get in and out of town (or up the hill to where the wedding I was attending was), like 40 euro each way. This is not Antica Fonte's fault, however. Just something to know.

The property is beautiful and the staff are absolutely delightful. Would definitely recommend if you want to stay somewhere quiet, away from the hustle and bustle of Assisi. We loved the hike from the property to Saint Francis Cathedral, and there was an amazing tavern (Osteria del Mulino) walking distance from the property.

The bed/pillows were not very comfortable. It was rather difficult to get around without a car, so we ended up paying a LOT of money for cabs (the cab drivers definitely ripped us off as tourists).

Abbiamo soggiornato per tre giorni all’Hotel Antica Fonte ed è stata un’esperienza davvero speciale. La struttura è immersa in un contesto incantevole, con un giardino stupendo che trasmette immediatamente una sensazione di pace e relax. La vera differenza però la fa l’accoglienza: la host è stata estremamente gentile e disponibile fin dal primo momento. Ci ha anche prenotato un ristorante nelle immediate vicinanze e si è dimostrata sempre pronta a soddisfare ogni nostra richiesta con grande attenzione e cordialità. Una nota speciale va anche all’attenzione verso il nostro cagnolino: è stato accolto benissimo e fatto sentire davvero il benvenuto, cosa per noi fondamentale e tutt’altro che scontata. La posizione è strategica per visitare l’Umbria: ai piedi di Assisi, che si può raggiungere anche con una piacevole passeggiata nel bosco durante il giorno, rendendo il soggiorno ancora più suggestivo. Un piccolo angolo di paradiso che consiglio assolutamente a chi cerca tranquillità, bellezza e ospitalità autentica.
