Friendly host that picked us up in the rain at the Station . Quiet. Comfortable bed. View of Mt Fugi !

the view to fuji was stunning. the tatami rooms were cute and you had the entire floor to yourself. the owner was incredibly kind and welcoming.

the entrance can be hard to find in the dark.

The property was located amidst the nature and is offbeat which was the highlight for us. The owner was nice and considerate, he gave us bicycles for the entire day and also dropped us off to the bus station. We loved staying here and it was such a refreshing experience.

No downside

It was really nice to stay in Umeya Annex for one night, since the experience was really local and down to earth. I loved the possibility of using owners bike. The futon bed was also very confortable.

Everything was good.

One of the highlights during our two weeks in Japan. We loved that we could cycle everywhere (the bicycles were provided for free). Beautiful view overlooking Mount Fuji from the balcony! Away from the crowds and surrounded by nature. Super friendly host, who even drove us to the station when we checked out. Such a wonderful place to stay!

Extremely nice man who cares for the people who stay at this place. If I needed something he was always happy to help.

Nothing about the place was dislikable.

in front of a temple that luckily on the evening we were there was a local sumo competition, there were nice people and they welcomed us warmly and even gave us a gift.

The location is very quiet, there are no shops or restaurants nearby. The room looks outdated with steep stairs We felt uncomfortable and that the host was impatient We expected an authentic experience but were disappointed

The location was so excellent, it exceeded our expectations. Firstly, our host was so friendly and helpful. He briefed us on the popular locations in the area and even drove us to the station on the day we left. We are so grateful. The facilities lived up to expectations too. We could see Mt Fuji from the balcony and it is close to every popular destination. Getting around town was easy because our host lent us bicycles. Cleanliness and comfort was excellent as well. This place has the most comfortable futon I have ever slept in. And bonus point, there is a really friendly cat named Kuro! I would definitely stay in Umeya Annex again.

Location, some spot points of Mt.Fuji are a few minutes from the accomodation. Views from the balcony. The host is incredibly friendly and helpful, always sugesting things to do and places to dicover and always checking that everything is perfect. He drove us to the station when we had to leave. Bikes are free to use and it is really nice to go ciclyng around the lake.
