Laugu Holiday Resort

That's it. There you want to live and probably die to. Monty Pythons sang, Finland has it all. Hmmm, no. Laugu Resort has it all. All. We went there, we extended, we didnt want to leave. Why? Nature. Peace. Great place to embrace your wife. Lovely breakfast, heartbreaking dinner. A place to learn, if you are able to speak. A place to lean, if you are able to slow down. A place to love, if you open your mind and a place to have a bloody good talk to Mr. Uku (if you are prepared). I have been nearly all around the world. I never hit a place and 2 people like this. Btw. I love their rooms, they built, the bathroom, the beds, the doors, the windows:-) forget about these guys, who complain about mosquitos and stairs... Its nature, guys, nature and the best 2 humans making it available for you and me. Thank yOu

Having to leave in

Was able to use the washing machine flexibly. Very clean and quiet. Very good breakfast.

- Nice location - Has an outside area for kids to play in - Mosquito nets in front of the windows so you can keep the windows open during the summer - Curtains in front of the windows so the summer sun wont wake you up too early - Our room/apartment had all the necessities including quite a large shower area

- Beds were more on the hard side, not our personal preference - Room/apartment had 2 floors but the stairs was very steep and hard to use even for adults.

Great place, super friendly host.

Perfect location, in nature, not far from the sea. Former farm converted into small resort. Very pleasant and helpful owner explaining the history of the farm and the island. Rich and tasteful breakfast from local ingredients. We also ordered dinner consisting of traditional local food. It was great, each course described.

Amazing wooden house, perfect to stay for a couple of nights

Hosts were very kind and friendly. The location is very peaceful, in the middle of the woods. Breakfast is good and abundant. Dinner is a really nice experience, with delicious food and worths a try.

Kitchen is very narrow, is more suitable for cooking breakfast than a proper dinner, but it's well furnished (dishwasher, pots, kettle and microwave)

There are different type of units there -we ended up living in a bigger 2 floor house. Was a nice place. Old house, really nicely renovated. Nice owners

Small kids did not manage to eat much during breakfast or dinner, as much as we tried. It was a bit disappointing that you cannot really reach the sea by walking a few minutes, even thought it seems near by

Lovely done, owner run, with a lot of attention to detail. Great hosts.

Staff is very responsive, extremely helpful, friendly and kind. You can tell this place is run with love and effort. It shows. Room was clean, and food was good. Sauna is amazing. I was traveling on my own but this place is a must for families. Thanks for everything!
