The building and grounds are stunning. Staff very helpful and friendly. Very comfy and quiet room. Fantastic cooked to order breakfast.

A few areas are a little tired but if anything this adds to the charm of the place

Quietness and location suited our journey far from towns Not alot to do around there.

Coffee was cold and poor and tea bags tea only in dining room with small cups May I suggest tea pots to save tooing and froing .and fresher hot coffee

We had a fantastic stay and thoroughly enjoyed our time here. The property was peaceful and perfectly located — away from the hustle and bustle, yet only a short drive to the shops and local amenities. Breakfast was absolutely delicious and a real highlight of our stay. The staff were incredibly attentive and welcoming throughout, making sure we had everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable, which made for a great night’s sleep. The surroundings were lovely, with alpacas roaming freely — such a unique and charming touch that really made the stay memorable. We would happily return and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing break.

Check in was very welcoming. Rooms were good. Evening meal was excellent, lovely fresh vegetables and a good selection. Breakfast was really good quality and a very nice porridge. Staff very helpful in ordering taxis and sorting us out. Very much appreciated.

Everything about our stay lived up to expectation. the staff were friendly and professional. The dinner and breakfast menu provided plenty of choise, the food quality was excellent and very well presented.

There was nothing to dislike.

Cosy room with some character, very well cooked breakfast, quiet surroundings and good view, very convenient location. Very helpful when I left behind an item of clothing. Friendly staff. Excellent value for money.

A bit tired in parts, dining room was a bit soulless.

Lovely location, loved the alpacas. Breakfast was great, good choice . Would still stay here again. Lovely surroundings.

Only down side , there was a bit of a smell in the property, I think probably because it was an old house. Could do with a small fridge in the room if you were staying more than one night
