The setting, room, and breakfast were lovely

Breakfast was included in the price. There was full English breakfast if you wanted it. Food was cooked to order and very nice. We didn't have dinner there. Our room was lovely, furniture was a bit old, but it is a Country House. It was very comfortable. Staff were very friendly. There were Alpacas in the fields, which was lovely.

Beautiful view, staff was amazingly helpful and friendly, they rang us before our stay to see if we would like a dinner reservation and rang our room in the morning to see if we would like any breakfast, even though we didn't eat there the food menu looked lovely. It was surrounded by fields so was no noise from anywhere which is great, I would highly recommend this place and would definitely return.

We stayed during the heatwave so our room was rather hot, we did have a window to open but because there was no breeze it didn't really help, the only thing I could really fault is the weather at night, I cannot fault anything with the venue during our stay.

Great friendly staff who went the extra mile. Delicious food both evening meals and a fab breakfast. We arrived a day early by mistake and were accommodated calmly even though a large funeral wake was arriving!

Due to commitments we couldn't stay longer.

Perfect for us ... quiet location.
