Casa Robusto

A super short stay! My wife and I and our young puppy were made very welcome by Senhora Leonora. The location is quiet and relaxed with plenty of living room and a nice patio looking onto fields. Breakfast was delicious and included home made jams. We really had a very nice stay at Casa Robusto, an authentic place with a charming owner.

We did not use the breakfast option, but even so, coffee was provided if wanted. The entire house is very clean. Sitting on the terrace to watch the sunrise was very peaceful and a lovely way to start the day. The light in the passage to our room was out (bulb blown!), and immediately fixed as soon as that was discovered; this type of detail is nice to experience.

The pillows were rather devoid of filling, and so very soft.

There is so much that is great about here that it’s sad to put 7 because of a under sized, ageing extremely uncomfortable mattress. Impossible to sleep well. I’m thinking it’s the major item you pay to stay for.

Tip-top place

Arrived mid afternoon travelling south. The house was perfectly placed 5 mins from the motorway. Lovely, interesting lady owner, with neither of us speaking the other's language, no problem. very clean, lovely breakfast. Couldn,t ask for more.
