Breakfast was amazing. Elsa is the penultimate host. Elsa provided many suggestions. Rooms were spotless. Entire facility show Elsa's pride of ownership and commitment to providing an exception experience.

"The best and only place to stay in Manteigas"

Simply everything. The host is nice, caring, goes well beyond the call of duty to make sure you are enjoying your stay. The room was large, clean, nicely furnished. The breakfast is amazing with high quality products and it is a great moment to start the day with hiking tips from the host. You feel like you have been taken care from the beginning to the end of your stay. There is no other place to stay in Manteigas.

The house is beautiful and well maintained, great breakfast, everything very clean, Elsa is super friendly and knowledgeable about things to do in the area. SerraVale is a great homebase to discover the region, we will for sure come back. You can see that Elsa is very proud of her house and takes care of all the details.

"A lovely comfortable place with a marvelous host."

Our 3-day stay in Manteigas was greatly enhanced by staying at SerraVale. Our room was spacious and comfortable and the breakfast was ample and delicious. As others have emphasized, Elsa, the host, went out of her way to make us feel welcome. In addition to excellent restaurant recommendations, she gave us great advice on hiking. When we made a wrong turn on one of our hikes and ended up far from our car, we contacted her by WhatsApp and she immediately arranged for a taxi to pick us up and return us to our car. We strongly recommend SerraVale.

"I loved the very warm welcome from Elsa."

I really enjoyed my stay at SerraVale. Elsa (the owner) made me feel very welcome, as if I was an old friend returning to her home. She advised her guests on the best walks and places to go in the area' The room was very clean and comfortable and the breakfast was first class, which was all local produce. This is truly a beautiful place in a lovely little village. I hope to return again sometime.
