Monte do Pomar

Amazing place right in the center of Alentejo, perfect as a base to explore the region. Perfect for a relaxed holiday, close to nature and surrounded by typical Alentejo scenery. The greatest highlight for me was the constant company of a group of 3 lovely dogs, who would greet us every morning at the door of the room. Lovely pool and delicious breakfast, with fruit of the season. Loved the persimmon particularly. Great, great experience overall.

No downsides at all! Even though one has to leave the place to have lunch or dinner, it is an excellent excuse to enjoy the local cuisine. There is a very good restaurant nearby that serves excellent food (Chana do Bernardino).

Really charming place on the country side surrounded by olive and fruit trees. Very relaxing to hang out by the amazing pool or in the hammocks. One or two of their dogs will hang out with you. The room is beautifully decorated and every detail is thought of. The family is really nice and helpful. Amazing breakfast.

The property is located in the middle of nature and it’s perfect for those willing to spend some time in a quite place. The hosts (Tiago and Petra and their 3 lovely dogs) are really nice and we really felt at home. The breakfast is served in the garden with and really exceeded our expectations. No doubts a place to come back.

To leave the place - that was the only negative aspect of our stay :)
