Peaceful countryside setting, very friendly welcome, comfortable and clean room, lots of parking and great adjacent bar with food (and happened to be traditional musicians friday night!) Great breakfast to get the day going -many thanks!

This accommodation felt like a home away from home. There is a sign at reception saying "Enter as strangers, Leave as friends". This hotel is run by Ruth and her husband. Any time in their company is time well spent. I felt that I knew Ruth for years after my stay. Truly an exceptional host. Great breakfast...Very comfortable bed...great shower.....and the quaintest pub with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Couldn't recommend more. I know I'll be back.

Super host, clean & comfortable - nothing too much trouble. I wasn’t feeling the best on arrival, but they went out of their way to ensure I was comfortable.
