Die Ruhe und die super Ausstattung der Wohnung. Der Pool war perfekt und das Fitnessstudio war TOP ausgestattet.

The property was quiet, peaceful, and beautifully set up, making it a perfect serene getaway. The overall setting was lovely, and we especially liked the gym, which was a great addition to the stay.

The property did not provide basic toiletries, which we found quite unusual compared with other places we have stayed. When we requested them, they were provided the next day, although we were told this was not something normally included for guests. We did not mind bringing or buying our own toiletries, but this was not made clear before arrival, and there are very few shops nearby. The pool was also under repair when we checked in, which had not been mentioned in the advert when we booked. The staff did try to fix it the next day, but we were unable to use it for most of our stay. The guidebook stated that the pool hours were 9:00am to 8:00pm, so we planned to use it on our third evening after visiting nearby villages. However, when we returned, the pool had already been closed at around 6:30pm, which meant we could not use it that day either. They did offer us use of the pool after checkout and opened the barn area so we could shower, which we appreciated, but overall it was disappointing as pool access was one of the main reasons we booked the stay.

Die Unterkunft ist traumhaft gelegen, ein Anwesen inmitten von Weinbergen und Olivenhainen mit weitem Blick in die hier und dort von Zypressen bekrönte Landschaft, ein toskanisches Postkartenidyll! Abgelegen genug, um hier die ersehnte Ruhe vom Alltag zu finden, doch ausreichend nah an Städten wie Siena, Montalcino und anderen berühmten Orten des Chianti-Gebiets, um diese mit dem Auto in Tages- oder Halbtagesausflügen zu erkunden. Die Ausstattung insbesondere der Wohnküche(n) ist hervorragend; in unserer Wohnung waren es vor allem Geräte von Neff, und auch ein Geschirrspüler ist vorhanden. So haben wir eigentlich jeden Abend „zu Hause“ gekocht und mittags die eine oder andere der Restaurantempfehlungen in der Willkommensmappe ausprobiert. Sonia, die Managerin des Anwesens, ist überaus freundlich, hilfsbereit und jederzeit ansprechbar. Dasselbe trifft auch auf Andrew, den Eigentümer, zu, der remote bei der Erfüllung unserer Wünsche half, sei es die Unterstützung bei der Anfahrt (die man einmal gemeistert haben muss um sie danach wie aus dem Effeff zu können), sei es die Hebung unseres Schlafkomforts durch zusätzliche Matratzenauflagen, sei es der Austausch einer kaputten Kaffeemaschine – alles lief reibungslos. Wir waren zum ersten Mal in La Casa, für fünf Tage. Hätten wir im Voraus gewusst, wie schön es dort ist, hätten wir wahrscheinlich auch die letzten drei Tage unserer Toskanareise dort verbracht. Wir werden garantiert wiederkommen!

Es gibt wirklich nichts auszusetzen.

The location of this cottage/apartment is stunning, we felt like we were in a proper rural part of Italy in the Tuscany area with vineyards all around us which has a nice energy and is also very relaxing. Also loved the apartment itself - very clean and comfy with great facilities including a swimming pool. We also really appreciate the kindness of the owner (Andrew) and all his advice and support. We also loved Siena which is about 35mins drive away and highly recommend it for a visit and some lovely food & drinks.

While the location is stunning you are uber-rural and so getting around without a car is both difficult and very expensive (a 10min journey in a taxi cost 100 euros, one way!) - Uber taxi's is pretty much useless out here. You need a car or a driver with a car if you're staying here otherwise you're stuffed because nothing is close by.

Świetne miejsce na odpoczynek - wśród winnic pod toskańskim niebem można poczuć się jak w raju :) Cudowni gospodarze, z którymi rozmowa to czysta przyjemność, bardzo zaangażowani i chętni do pomocy w każdej kwestii. Na pewno jeszcze tu wrócimy :)
