Everything was perfect, really picturesque, clean, lovely hosts! Has everything you need and is close enough to all the beautiful things to do in the wine lands. If you plan to use uber just book them a bit in advance and it should be fine

Could provide a bit more facilities for food or beverages since the restaurants close by are so lala.

The location is lovely and it is very peaceful. We loved the on site restaurant and the owners of the restaurant were both extremely warm and welcoming and made us feel at home.

It would be great if small amenities like a bit of cooking oil, and filter coffee for the coffee machine could be provided. Would also be a nice idea to include breakfast as an optional extra for the booking. The bedding (duvet) was not very comfortable and unfortunately the WIFI was not working inside the cottage and could only be accessed by going outside to the porch..

Amberg Country Estate is the most serene place I have stayed in, in a long time: it was just so ideal! We stayed for 5 nights in the ‘Garden House’: a rather small self-catering cottage with a beautiful terrace (and braai area) from which you have an amazing view over the town and winelands of Paarl. The nearby Paarl Nature Reserve is a fantastic reserve with endless possibilities for walking. At the bottom of the Estate is a restaurant, called FarmBoyCuisine, which is outstanding and serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. On top of all these wonderful things, features the owner Helga : she is the sweetest host you can imagine! More than recommended!

The entire place was an absolute pleasure and delight. We absolutely enjoyed our stay and it was exactly as described on the website. Loved the outside shower it was a fantastic suprise private but beautiful and so clean.

Baboons but that comes with the territory and the helper assisted us with good advise and we were not impacted by them I'm just scared of them. The inside shower needs hot water but that was augmented by the lovely outside shower.

Lovely location. Just outside of Paarl to feel like the country, but close enough to get to Paarl for the wedding we attended.
