The address: La Lajilla 7 , Galdar does NOT EXITS in Google maps! It took us some investigation to find Juncalillo House. Please give a better description with a real address which can be found in Google maps!

Fantastic view of a peaceful valley.

the view is beautiful and the house is relatively well-maintained.

the location is incredibly hard to reach and directions are totally unclear. please do not drive at night especially and generally I would advise against driving, as the road gets suicidal in some parts. I saw erosion of asphalt into a big dam lake on the way there, then the road was closed and when I asked for directions from the ones who own the place they had no idea which road to choose. then I started driving on a road which was the most dangerous road I have ever encountered. no barriers and an abyss to your right, so narrow and there were huge weeds everywhere- like in a horror movie really. I have passed through a death experience almost to reach that place. and I could not go back. the staff should mention that the location is dangerous to drive and especially at night and that some roads are closed and which one to choose. the place is very small and maybe fine just for 2 people. also the bathroom shower drain was clogged and water went all over the place and the bathroom smelled bad. the windows in the house where open when I reached, there was no net to protect from bugs getting inside, which I am afraid of and was wandering if there would be any bugs. I managed to find a worm under the bed from outside. the cutlery is dirty, there is no sponge to wash the dishes and there is no microwave to heat up the food. also it is self check in and check out, so no interaction with the owners… felt very isolated but if that’s what you want then you can hike to that place and stay for maximum 2 days, as there is not much to do around, except walking. I wrote this review to make other people understand that the location goes through a dangerous road, where you can literally die if you go 10 cm wrong, everybody should know!

Setting was incredible in the mountains. View from the terrace was breathtaking

We went on a colder week and it has only a plug in heater which looked a little old and dodgy ..perhaps this may be changed
