We stayed at Skorba for 7 nights: 5 nights in the barn and 2 nights in room number 3. First of all, the place is nice, with the nearby farm being quite charming, and it certainly has potential. First stay: the room was not clean, with cobwebs on the ceilings and lamps. Inside the house we also found insects, geckos, cockroaches, and lizards. We are not afraid of these animals, but we imagine that if someone pays to stay in an apartment, they don’t expect a mini zoo—especially since some people might be terrified of cockroaches, etc. Small note: there is no change of sheets or room cleaning service, so for a long stay, having only one towel is not ideal—we received extra towels 48 hours after requesting them. But things got worse. We arrived around 10 p.m. for the second check-in for room no. 3. The door of the accommodation was wide open, and once inside, we found a sweet cat waiting for us—right on the beds where we were supposed to sleep. Again, nothing against cats, but I didn’t know I had booked to sleep in a little zoo. And the icing on the cake: the toilet flush didn’t work. We immediately wrote to the property around 11 p.m., but the first reply came the next day at 6 p.m. In the meantime, the bathroom was unusable, and we had to try to fix it ourselves, literally putting our hands inside the toilet. We managed to apply only a temporary fix to this huge problem, since for 2 days we had to flush manually using buckets of water. Final touch. Three hours after check-out, the owner wrote to us saying that a technician would soon be called to assist us. We hope they actually do it for future guests, because by that point we were already at the airport. We are very disappointed, because the place is nice, the farm atmosphere is lovely, but it seems to have been built with attention to detail only to then be completely abandoned to its fate and the self-management of guests.

Beautiful farm house in great location. Easy access to beaches and main towns. Very helpful staff in the farm shop

The garden view was very pleasant, there was ample parking available, and the room was clean.

There was no air conditioning, which should have been clearly stated before booking. Because of this, we had to keep the doors and windows open, and mosquitoes came in due to a broken window net. The apartment also had no TV, and instead of a private barbecue, there was only one shared among all guests. In addition, the electricity supply was weak — the lights dimmed every time the stove was used, and this even resulted in a power cut. On a positive note, the owner responded immediately to one of the guests and gave clear instructions on how to restore the electricity.

V žádném případě nedoporučuji! Z důvodu špíny, chlupů od zvířat všude, pomočené postele od kočky!! jsme se s majitelkou dohodli, že zde bydlet nebudeme a že nám vrátí peníze v plné výši zpět (potvrdila i písemně). Se dvěma dětmi jsme poté už kvapem večer hledali jiné ubytování, což nám dost znepříjemnilo začátek dovolené a prodražilo celou dovolenou. Přesto paní majitelka nijak nereaguje, dokonce nereaguje ani na zprávy od Bookingu, aby věc řešila. Peníze nám dosud skoro po měsíci stále nevrátila!

Le lieu est sympa mais nous n’avons pas pu profiter des produits de la ferme, la boutique était fermée.

Manque de luminosité dans la pièce de vie et la chaleur sans climatisation qui était difficile à vivre la nuit malgré le ventilateur.
