Casa Aquila Mazunte

The location is a bit of a walk from the center of Mazunte, which has the benefit that it is very quit :) The staff is more than a joy, Adrian and his crew were very kind, nice and helping, e.g. he ordered our taxi back to Pochutla and took care of our luggage for the whole day. The equipment of the room was alright and the a/c powerful.

Wi-fi could be better.

The place is beautiful, well situated, spacious and comfortable, and the staff are incredibly helpful. They even let us checkout super late as we had a night bus.

Nothing, would happily go back.

The property went way above our expectations, it was large, clean, and such a beautiful space, we had so much privacy, a kitchen, dining area and hammock which was so relaxing, the bed was very comfy, bathroom was so clean. There was a fan in the room, and although we needed it when going to sleep, I would turn it off in the night as I found I was cool enough. The staff were lovely and the area was very peaceful, 5 minute walk to the main shop area. Lots of good restaurants near by! Go to A La Mexicano for lunch, it’s incredible. We were able to make our own breakfast at the property everyday as the kitchen was well equipped and was very clean. Free drinking water provided also

Nothing! Loved it! However if you’re not super mobile it is slightly up hill with stairs so might not be perfect for you

Adrian and his crew where very friendly, attentive and caring. Always smiling and happy. I definatly felt at home.

Beautiful space with a full kitchen and dining area and separate bedroom. With 2 fans we made it through the nights comfortably. Loved sitting in the hammock and reading in the early mornings. Two things to note are that there is a lock on the bedroom door but no lock on the door to the actual door that enters your area (where the kitchen and hammock are). We were fine with this as we just kept all personal belongings in the bedroom area. Additionally, it wasn’t a big deal because it was so hot, but the shower didn’t have warm water. Woul stay again in the future!

The room and the outdoor space are both beautiful. I really enjoyed chilling in the hammock and reading. There is also a table and a desk so I was able to get work done. It's a great place to relax.

Only that it is a little bit far from the beaches compared to other places but this also means it's very secluded and private.
