Ohisama House

Everything was wonderful! We don't typically stay in a shared space like this, but everything was great. The beds were comfortable and the hosts were very friendly and accommodating. Yoko even cooked us breakfast in the morning! We liked the proximity to the ski resort and restaurants.

Everything was really wonderful - if I had to pick one thing that could use improvement it would be the shower/tub screen in the upstairs bathroom. It didn't do a great job of keeping the water in the tub.

The accommodation is really close to the lifts and mountain, never had any issues getting there. The room was comfortable and clean. Yoko and Kazuya were very warm, welcoming, friendly and helpful! I highly recommend to stay here if you are in Rusutsu, we really enjoyed our time!

Nothing, everything was great!

A very very beautiful house! The room is so clean and spacious, equiped with very clean bathroom as well. Everything's just perfect here! They will pick you up from the Bus stop in Rusutsu hotel back and forth, Yoko and her husband are so friendly and he dropped me off to my next accommodation and doesn't mind to give me lift back to Rusutsu hotel since i will be there for skiing. Thank you so much and definitely will come back again! ❤️❤️

Amazing experience. Hosts picked me up upon arrival and also dropped me off to the bus stop after checking out. Ohisama house is a super cozy guest house that ticks all the boxes especially short walk to the gondolas and convenience stores, and most importantly hosts are super friendly and can speak English well.

The property was so cute! A little cabin surrounded by snow and so homely. And, our hosts were so generous and lovely. Also, it was closer to the resort than Google maps thinks. It told us it was 15 minutes, it’s not, it’s less than a 5 minute walk.

I liked everything. It was as described.

Plenty of room

The host are so nice and kind, location is very good, not far to the ski area, they also provide free checkin pickup and checkout dropoff service, room is super clean as well, has a fridge for the guest etc, overall pretty good exp !!!
