Guesthouse située dans une ancienne maison coloniale, joliment décorée avec des objets et mobiliers d'époque. On a eu l'impression de voyager dans le temps. La chambre était grande et confortable. Le petit-déjeuner dans le salon d'époque était très sympathique et copieux. Le gérant était super sympa et nous a conduit volontiers à la gare en partant. Merci!

La maison est d'époque et donc un peu vieillie par endroits, mais ça ne nous a pas gênés pour autant.

Second time I spend a night here. It’s for people that like a place with a charm. You can use the common living room and soon to be kitchen

This place is totally fine for one night stop over stay. You have a big room with an en suite and the staff were very friendly and eager to please.

The property is in desperate need of some renovation particularly the bathroom which had a lot of damp

Shirin was extremely friendly and helpful, kindly picking us up from Nanu Oya train station and offering delicious milk tea upon our arrival. The house is cozy and charming, filled with historical character, and pleasantly scented with incense. While it's a historic property, you can’t expect the facilities to be brand-new, but everything was kept impeccably clean. The location is excellent, with two pizza places and a local restaurant right at the entrance of the lane, plus a Super K store for shopping needs. It's within walking distance to the lakeside and city center, and if you don't feel like walking, tuk-tuks are very affordable. Breakfast was abundant and delicious, with the hoppers being absolutely outstanding. I highly recommend staying at Shirin's place - it's definitely great value for money.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

It was enjoyable stay. The house was built in an old traditional British style, which gave us a historical feel and the old interior was also lovely. The host and his family were very kind and welcoming. The breakfast was well-portioned and very delicious. Keells supermarket was close and convenient. Thank you so much!

The entrance from the main road was hard to find and quite bumpy, so I felt that drivers needed to be very careful when passing through.

Атмосферная старинная вилла расположенная между озером Грегори и центром, очень удобно, можно дойти пешком до всех достопримечательностей. Комната большая с удобной кроватью, очень уютная, есть даже камин. Завтрак очень вкусный и обильный. Спасибо хозяину отеля, он был очень любезен и отвёз меня до поезда, когда я уезжала. Мне все понравилось.

Beautiful old house with an incredible garden. Wonderful, friendly staff and tasty breakfast. Would recommend in a heartbeat. A short stroll from the city center (you can walk through the beautiful Victoria Gardens).

We didn’t mind that the facilities in general were a bit old as this is part of the charm of the place. The bathrooms do need to be updated when they get the chance though.
