Blue Sea House

Loved, Loved the location! The boat shed was beautiful & clean & the pantry & fridge were well stocked with complimentary treats. Kate was wonderful to deal with & even ensured we had a spot to park our rental car. She also gave us a map of the island detailing where we could & couldn’t go & highlighted some hidden gems. I would highly recommend staying here.

Loved that it was directly on the water. Beautiful Sunsets, very quiet. Blue Sea house was very comfortable for 2 couples. The restaurant was fantastic

A little annoying that car loads of people came to watch Sunset and they all wanted to take pictures of the Blue Sea house and lined the jetty in front of us

I understand why it’s a tourist attraction as the houses are beautiful and different.

There’s no explanation of the area. It’s extremely hard to come up and down the road as it is 2 ways but only fits enough for 1 car. There’s no back way or walkway going to the front of the house, it’s all seaweed and wet slippery concrete/rocks - extremely inaccessible for individuals that are older, with disabilities etc. it was nearly impossible to bring our suitcases as it’s one of the last houses. The stairs inside are extremely steep that are dangerous. Seaweed would come flying through the front door when it was open (which it never was unless we were going in and out). Any tap that is turned on in the house creates this horrible sound. There’s only 1 aircon for the whole house which is upstairs. Tourists are absolutely everywhere taking photos, it happened a few times where I was hanging washing and they would take photos of you - no privacy.

We loved the location. The house was right on the water with amazing views.

We didn’t like that only one room have a/c. We understand that the other two had windows, but it still was hot at night with just fans. The bottom floor should have A/c because we did not feel we had privacy if we left the front door open at night for air flow

It was a unique property

It was very difficult to access the property and that is not explained in the advertisement at all. Should not be rented out at all due to danger to get to the property, un-even and wet pavement that is very slippery.
