Very remote, rural, all you can hear is the birds. Outdoor space is excellent. You preorder buffet breakfast and is brought to your table which i liked. Good safe parking for motorcycles. Owner very attentive. Communal tea facilities plus fridge full of drinks (pay). Wifi works well (no mobile signal)

Minor points - The room decor is functional as opposed to high specification finish. No dinner offered but a restaurant 0.5 miles away which was ok. No tv in room, shared in lounge. Dont let any of this put you off staying.

The location was very different than usual ... we entered a small rural village next to a lake, finding Casa do Roxo at the end of a lane. It presented as a modern, clean stay with open paddocks surrounding the property. Jorg the owner was so helpful and friendly.
