"Schöne Lage mit Meerblick und unweit vom Zentrum von Hermanus."

Das Sandbaai Country House war eine gute Wahl, toller Ausblick aufs Meer vom Aufenthaltsraum aus, der auch mit einer Bar ausgestattet ist. Wir wurden herzlich und mit einem Glas Wein empfangen. Die Lage ist etwas ausserhalb des Zentrums von Hermanus in erster Meereslinie und der Zugang in der zweiten Strasse vom Meer her ohne genaues Navi/GPS bzw. genauere Beschreibung ev. etwas schwer zu finden, aber für Besuche im Zentrum und zu Walbeobachtungstouren ideal und nahe genug gelegen. Fahrt zum Hafen für Waltouren dauert ca. 8 Minuten und zum Zentrum von Hermanus ca. 10 Minuten. In der wärmeren Jahreszeit und Sommer bietet der Pool sicher eine tolle Möglichkeit zu relaxen.

"Nicht gefallen" war bei uns nicht zutreffend. Ein Missverständnis bei der Zimmervergabe unseres Zimmers an ein anderes Gästepaar konnte durch Steven ohne Probleme, einwandfrei und souverän gelöst werden. Schade, dass das Frühstück erst ab 8 Uhr morgens serviert wird, denn viele der Touren zur Walbeobachtung beginnen um 9 Uhr, wobei man sich dort am Hafen bereits 30 Minuten vor Abfahrt registrieren und zum Briefing einfinden muss. Das bedeutet eine Abfahrt ab dem Sandbaai Country House um ca. 08:15 womit ein genussreiches Frühstück leider ausfällt. Da wäre ein Frühstück ab 07:00 oder 07:30 wünschenswert.

Tout était parfait, la chambre, le petit déjeuner très copieux, le décor, et surtout l'accueil ! Nous avons passé un court moment ici mais nous en garderons de très bons souvenirs ! Nous reviendrons certainement !

"Perfect!"

It is the second time we stayed there and it was as pleasant as the first time. The hosts are lovely and very accomodating, the breakfast is particularly tasty, made with fresh local products. We highly recommand this place.

Staff and owner were very friendly and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble. Area was very safe and quiet.

An electric under blanket would’ve been the icing on the cake!

Struttura veramente molto bella in un contesto tranquillo e curato. Staff di una simpatia ed accoglienza disarmante, sorridenti e sempre pronti a soddisfare l'ospite. Posizione fronte mare con una vista mozzafiato. Letti comodi e stanza dotata di tutto il necessario a soggiorni sia brevi che lunghi

Forse la camera un po' freddina per gli standard di noi Italiani ma tutto sommato si dorme divinamente
