Trullo Il Melograno

So quiet and thoughtfully appointed - was like stepping back in time to a more simple and peaceful life.

That we had only booked a couple of nights - we would have been happy to stay for much longer.

The Trullo is located on a large farm/orchard, it's a welcome escape from the big city. We spent a big chunk of our time in Ostuni enjoying the property itself. We arrived a lot later due to delays and the host met us despite the rain. The Trullo had everything we needed - fully equipped kitchen, coffee & tea, milk, water, amenities in the bathroom etc. Their cat Kika is adorable and so friendly, she will accompany you the whole time if you let her.

We did have a few days of big rain and the Trullo got quite cold. The only option of 'heating' was to add more blankets

Such a lovely stay, gorgeous view and peaceful location. We enjoyed being able to make our own dinner. The host was so kind and helpful. Trullo was very clean and comfortable

The hot water did not last long. However, it was not a huge issue for us as we did not need to wash our hair during our stay

Beautiful location, very hospitable and generous hosts welcoming us with home made olive oil and figs from the garden, absolute peace and quiet
