The lodge was perfect for our trip to run UTD trail race and used this as a base. Our wives felt safe enough to return at all hours while we ran. The lodge had everything we required and was clean and comfortable. The staff were excellent and very friendly, we will definitely be back, thank you.

The property was as advertised. Clean and had everything we needed for a one night stay. Had a good rest before doing the Sani Pass. Nomusa the house keeper was very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay there again.

Please could you supply more wood for the braai and inside fireplace as it was insufficient this year

The Lodge is located in a beautiful nice area in Underberg. It is an nice accommodation with much space and a fully equipped kitchen, a balcony and even a swimminhmg pool in the garden. The rooms are clean and every day there is a woman coming to clean the place. Beds are comfortable, WiFi is working well. In the Lodge there are informations about the possible things to do and tours.

The place was nice, but it would be important to mention the accessability to the Lodge. We have no internet on our phones and we came by a small car. The owners were not at the Lodge directly, but there is a woman who takes care of the Lodge in an adjacent houae. In a message one day before it was written that we should hoot with the car on the gate, when we are there. But we had no access to internet, so we couldn't read it. It would be good to write this in general informations. The whole region where the Lodge is, seem to not have any bells. So we spent a time to contact the host and find out how we can get in. The road to the lodge is totally unpaved, earthy and with outstandig rocks. When we arrive it was raining, which made the half road to a river. There are two roads which lead to the Lodge, one from the behind, where you need a 4x4 car and the other road which seem to be better and looked doable with a non-4x4-car. Smaller cars could take damage or get stuck if you use the wrong road, especially when it is raining. We did that 4x4 road and did barely stuck with our car there in the rain. It would be good to mention this as well in the general informations, that guest should use the front road preferably and avoid the other one, if they habe no 4x4 car.

Kitchen utensils were basic. Strange layout with kitchen upstairs..poor lighting inside

Loved every 2nd . The peaceful area waking up to the birds singing in the trees was like music in your ears. The Best.
