Only thing that the hot tub wasn't functioning

Proximity to nature. We needed a break from city life and got all we hoped and more. Each day we relaxed more, the restored buildings and beautifully tended grounds soak away whatever you’re hoping to shrug off. I feel very different after 6 nights. Highly recommended.

In the house next to us we had a groups of guys playing music very loud and having parties till 4am, not what you'd expect from a quiet casa rural.

I traveled to Cal Sodhi with a group of friends -- we are all young English teachers in Madrid and were looking for a weekend city-break. This was exactly what we needed. The house was wonderful itself, with spacious rooms, plenty of comfort and lots of amenities. The area and the views were exceptional, and one of the most beautiful places any of us had ever been. Rosa and her family were so kind and generous, and welcomed us with lots of stories and information about the history of the property. They helped us with any questions we had and made sure we felt at home. They recommended a local hike to us that took us into an amazing abandoned property that was a very unique and special experience. We also went down to a small store and were offered a tasting of fresh goat cheese, jams and cakes. The store owners also invited us to meet them the next day at the farm, where they taught us to milk and feed the goats, as well as giving us a tour around the gardens. I would highly recommend this beautiful property to anyone wanting to experience something really unique and special, in a stunning landscape surrounded by nature.

The view from the house was magnificent. Location secluded and quiet, yet short drive from shops and restaurants. The house was clean and comfortable. It had a fireplace and very well equipped kitchen. The bedrooms had en suite bathrooms. Outside it had lovely terrace and patio with bbq. This place was by far the loveliest we've been to in a long while. We will definitely come back again.
