Quintinha dos Emigrantes

Nice location - a pleasure to get a taste of rural Portugal. Modern, well-equipped, spotlessly clean kitchen, and a very comfortable bed. Friendly host.

The room where we stayed was spacious, comfortable, with good light to work at night and very nice sun light during the day. It was a very silent and quiet place! No one was using the other room (that is also for rent), so we don't know about the noise that can/cannot be heard when there is someone else in the house. The kitchen had EVERYTHING we could need, from coffee and salt (even pasta tat we cooked for dinner!) and all the equipment we could possibly need. Mr. Dinis was so nice, so thoughtful and so welcoming! The bed was 5 stars, the shower had very good water pressure and temperature easy to regulate. Everything was spotless clean. There isn't a single bad thing to point. Lovely!

For the first time in over 100 different stays all over the country and the world, I guess we can say there was nothing bad to point.

The overall vibe and feel of the place was excellent. It was extremely clean and well organised. The kitchen is extremely well stocked and thoughtfully done. Sadly, it was marred by the negatives.

Access was not as smooth as would have liked as the door code in the manual was out of date. No light to see key pad at night. The sheet on the bed was very badly pilled and extremely uncomfortable to sleep in. It should be biffed! The pillows are also very absent of filling and therefore rather inadequate. It is a shame as the rest of the place is excellent.

Very clean and new room. Nice kitchen. Very kind hosts.

Lovely place to spend a weekend or more. We loved to see the fields and wake up seeing the goats, a donkey, etc. The owner was very helpful and friendly. Will come again.
