The Manor House, Curry Mallet

De warme ontvangst met thee, de historie, de tuin, de schone gezellige slaapkamer, zeer goede bedden en dekbedden, veel handdoeken, thee/koffie/water op kamer, de katten en de hond, de mogelijkheid tot avond eten, de locatie en natuurlijk de eigenaren moeder en zoon.

Echt niets. Een puntje dat al eerder benoemd is dat de serre schoner kan, maar de rest van het huis is prima.

De lieve mensen en de diertjes. Prachtig gebouw en omgeving. De heerlijke jammen.

Our stay was beautiful—it was so lovely and enchanting. We had a wonderful time, and the hosts were so friendly. We will be back!

Wonderful historic house in a beautiful village. Blissfully quiet, great food and huge range of home made jams and preserves to taste and buy.. The owner is a great host and has helpful knowledge of the area. Great place to spend a few nights exploring tje area.

Nothing

The owner gave a very friendly welcome and nothing was too much trouble. Despite our late arrival, we were immediately offered a cup of tea and, when we explained that we were going out again to find food, the owner gave us a menu for dinner. This was a comprehensive menu, not just snacks, and we chose a spaghetti bolognaise, for which there was an additional payment added to the cost of the room and breakfast. We were taken up to our lovely room and had everything explained to us. By the time we came down, our meal was ready and it was obviously home-made and it was delicious - no supermarket fodder here!! A lovely, comfortable night followed - a wonderful duvet and heavy-weight duvet cover (without being too heavy or hot) that stayed in place, despite a normally restless sleeper, helped a lot. A full-English Breakfast - available as an extra - was definitely worth it, with lots of options. Otherwise the choice was cereals, toast, home-made preserves and pastries and, of course, juices and teas and coffees. Altogether, a very comfortable stay and we will go there again. The Manor House also serves teas and lunches - Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays and, I think, Bank Holidays. Worth checking it out.

Really lovely old building. Great welcome from Fleur and William and their super friendly pets. Lovely selection for breakfast included and selection of evening food available. They were so helpful after I had eye surgery.
