The Manor House, Curry Mallet

Fantastic history place

The Manor House is steeped in history, and the owners are proud custodians of that history. It is the most fascinating B&B in which we have stayed. Our hosts were very friendly and very helpful. They also do an excellent and unusual range of jams and preserves. Would happily stay here again and thoroughly recommended.

The bathroom wasn't en-suite (right next to the bedroom so hardly a great problem, and the only downside of being in a Grade II* listed building where there is a limit to the number and type of changes that can be made to a building).

The building was very old and interesting The bed was very comfortable

Too many cobwebs and too much dust the private bathroom was down the hallway

Fleur and Will are a very welcoming and friendly duo. Nothing was too much trouble. Our room was clean and spacious and the beds were comfortable. The shared bathroom was always clean and shampoo, shower gel and bath foam was provided. Towels were big and fluffy! Considering the age of the manor and the interior it is a quiet and warm home. Definitely worth a stay and maybe a return visit.

As I had to leave early, Fleur kindly left an array of breakfast items out for me. She thought of everything and the homemade preserves were an added touch

The location was very interesting and quite unique

With the room l was allocated there was no television but in order to get a room with a television l had to pay an upgrade of £ 25 which was a surprise.

This is a very old building with nice people running a bnb.

It would be nice to be able to see a bit more of the manor.
