Pafuri Gate Guesthouse

The location was amazing… 200 meters from the Pafuri Gate to Kruger, ideal for a 6am entry to the north of the park. The house was beautifully fitted out, ultra modern, new, sparklingly clean. Wonderfully comfortable bed. Exceptionally well equipped kitchen. We had internet, a luxury in Kruger. But what really made our stay at Pafuri Gate Guesthouse really memorable was the welcome we received from Forget and Patricia. They were so helpful and concerned that we had everything we needed to make us feel safe and comfortable. Forget was a great source of local news and history and when we set off to walk the perimeter he accompanied us and kept us engaged with his stories.

The signage! We just couldn’t believe that the turning to our house ran along the Kruger fence! (The roadway is a bit rough, even by Kruger gravel road standards, but presumably as the site is further developed this will be improved.)

Comfortable, clean and Patricia and co were wonderful! They checked in twice to see if I needed anything. I would definitely come again and perhaps even to stay a couple days and head into Kruger daily. Great value for money. I’ll also add that I was impressed with the WiFi, and it was more than sufficient for a few work calls early evening.

It was an amazing stay in a very very well equipped and maintained accommodation with everything one needs and even with much more than one needs.... The staff was so friendly and assisted us so much! It was truely one of the best accommodation we stayed in! Extremly neat and clean! I would say this is the best value for money in the whole Pafuri region!

Patricia and Forget are the best. They were there any time night or day when we needed assistance with anything. We stayd there for over a week. The service and dedication of Forget and Patricia is out of this world. The property has everything you need. We could just relax and focus on our tasks at hand. The bed was like my bed at home. Perfect in every way!

The place was spotless The yard space all round the place is paved and clean The staff were very friendly We were told that we were in the safest location in the country, which I can now confirm

It’s very clean and has immaculate modern finishes. It’s well furnished and has every type of utensil you may need, including an ice machine ☺️. Patricia and Foget were really lovely. They made sure we were comfortable and provided excellent services. We would recommend this place to anyone or a couple looking for a peaceful retreat. Conveniently located just outside the Parfuri gate, this modern, clean, neat and functional unit works for an overnight stopover. Patricia and Forget were great!
