Tillietudlem Nature Reserve

Everything was awesome.. The perfect weekend getaway.. Shelbi and Danni were absolute gems,simply the best hosts.. The place is ideal to get away from everything.. Nature at its finest.. The house was a brilliant mix of modern and old school.. The towel heater was the best

House is creaky but very comfortable..

The location is fantastic for a getaway. Peaceful and quiet, perfect for unwinding. Staff were amazing and nothing was too much trouble.

Staying in a 1920's house is amazing, but it does have a down side... Creaky and noisy wooden floorboards. This was the only down side that I could think of.

The lodge was an awesome spot in nature, next to a waterfall and natural pool. Amazing views from the deck watching the animals in the distance. Lovely dama for dishing and great walks. Staff were very friendly and helpful and generous.

There was nothing that I really did not like.

Tillietudlem is in the most beautiful location, with streams passing right outside the spacious accommodation. There are wide views and it's a great place if you enjoy the outdoors and fishing. It's a real escape from city life, just keep in mind that there is no cell reception and wifi is only available at the main cottage - this is both a positive and a negative depending on the kind of getaway you are planning.

The kitchen at our accommodation was functional, but due for a revamp in the near future. We had only two towels for three guests.
