Everything you need. Comfortable bed. Aircon and fan excellent in the heat.

The description on booking.com is confusing. There is a main house and then a separate bungalow. The splash pool was only available after we enquired about it.

The location in Marloth Park is very quiet. Everything you need is there for cooking, with a complete kitchen. The bed is big and very comfy.

With Eskom loadsheddings a gas stove would be handy, as there are only electric appliances in the kitchen. Furthermore there is no solar back-up, so you have to stay in the dark every evening for 2 hours. During the first days, with heavy raining, there was a leak in the living room to be fixed after my departure. The caterpillar plague that made staying outside almost impossible wasn't the owner's fault ... And it's a bit too far from Crocodile Gate ...

There was no breakfast but we had everything we needed for self catering. Lovely view deck. Quiet and peaceful, Comfy bed.

The place is a little run down eg the tap in the shower kept falling off and the kitchen cupboard door was swollen from water and fell off. But, for the price, it was lovely

Pool pump was not functioning

All good if I had to add one negative: The maid cleans well, but I felt that she is pushing every day to be able to clean, very early. She must understand, I am on holiday. Some days I want to wake up at my own discretion not by a maid that is noisy outside and persistent to enter the premises. Otherwise very nice unit.

The person at the security vomany, we collected our keys from was rude and arrogant. He went out of his way to make you feel like you klippie in his skoen. The facilities where ok. Bat poop I think was all over the bath and bed room floor. The stairway was nice. But for a safety aspect. I think a pole should be added make. it more sturdy

A broom to sweep up. Extra toilet roll. Yet these are mild issues overall. BTW the round table in the lounge area with bar stool is unstable. While we sat down and leaned on it. Two glass fell off table. Maybe secure this table. And apology for broken glasses. 💔

It was a nice size house with many sleep options. We loved the animals coming close to the house. Such a treat.

Maintenance has been neglected and the dishes were not washed properly. The cottage is also on a very busy road with much passing traffic. When in nature, I like to have peace and tranquility.
