i loved everything about our stay, the room was wonderful as was the bed. Muffins tasted great first thing in the morning, It was very quiet and peaceful. Will definitely stay here again when I am in the area. I highly recommend .

"I should stay in quaint lodging houses more often!"

It's a large lodging house rather than a classic hotel, which is charming and makes the experience more unique. Finding the place at night was a little spooky, but I actually liked the mystery of it. The host was nice and returned the message I left saying I'd be late. She left a note on the door and then made coffee and blueberry muffins in the morning. The bed was comfortable. Nice little public lounge area upstairs--reminded me of college.

While sharing a bathroom wasn't a problem, it took some time for the shower to get hot. It was just a matter of turning the knob and waiting, with no water volume control. The host was having trouble with her computer software and so had to ask for a second credit card, and then for my e-mail so she could get back to me (but she got it worked out before I left).

The host was so sweet and kind. We were traveling across the country in a hurry, grumpy and EXHAUSTED, we'd been on the road for 12hrs with a six year old and a cat, and she set an alarm for 11:30pm to wake up and let us in, and was just extremely patient and understanding with us. She made homemade muffins and coffee the next morning which were DELICIOUS and the property was so beautiful and peaceful! We are definitely saving this for when we can get a chance to come back and actually enjoy it! Hate that we had to breeze in and out and not take time to really take it in. It was a perfect getaway!

"Stayed here on our cross country road trip and could not have had a better stay."

The Country Diamond was an amazing stay. The grounds, the views, the room were all fantastic and we will be staying again if we find ourselves nearby.

The electrics in the bathroom made the over sink light not work. But it did not affect our stay in anyway and the host was very transparent about the situation. The only negative of the entire time.
