Property Notes

Please note that Hever Castle Luxury Bed and Breakfast can only take bookings up to 8 weeks in advance in the Astor Wing and 6 months in advance in the Anne Boleyn Wing. Please note that guests staying in bedrooms in the Astor Wing have access to a lounge and a Billiards Room. Anne Boleyn Wing guests have a beautiful breakfast room to enjoy during their stay with castle views and also have access to the Astor Wing lounge and Billiards Room if the Astor Wing is not booked out for a private event. Please note that there is no access to the property after midnight. Please be aware that although the accommodation may be open, Hever Castle and it's gardens are not open every day from 01 November to early February. Opening dates and times can be found on the website. Not all bedrooms can accommodate extra beds or baby cots for children. These are subject to availability at the time of booking. Some rooms offer a double sofa bed, only available for children under 12 to use. The cost is GBP 55 for 1 child. If 2 small children are sharing a sofa bed an extra breakfast will be charged for at check-in. Please inform the property in advance if children will be accompanying you. A deposit may be required at the property.

"We couldn’t have wished for more on a special anniversary break, we felt like royalty"

We stayed in Lavender Room in the Astor wing. The room was luxurious and in keeping with the historical surroundings, super comfortable bed, spotlessly clean. The dining hall where breakfast was served was grand and we felt like we had slipped back in time. The castle itself was amazing and so well preserved, an interesting audio guided tour. The grounds were meticulously cared for by staff who were cheerful and informative. We only stayed for one night but it was a real treat, we can’t wait to return. We ate locally at the Henry, followed by an evening stroll through the castle grounds after the day visitors had left, it was so tranquil. An exclusive dining experience has just been launched by renowned chef, George Blogg. We were fortunate to be shown the new dining room by George and we were impresssed by his knowledge, enthusiasm and talent. Next time we visit we will be sure to book a table, we think bookings will be in demand.

Cardboard cups for tea in the Italian Garden cafe. Somewhere of this calibre needs to serve tea in china. Other than that all was perfect.

"A brilliant short break, absolutely loved it."

The room was absolutely lovely very well appointed. The bed was very comfortable and breakfast - well breakfast was in the castle great hall, what an atmosphere, exceptional. We also loved the fact that after the castle was closed we could still wander around the grounds without the hordes of visitors. Brilliant.

We liked everything, there was nothing that we didn't like and enjoy.
