Relais Valle Dell'Aquila

The room was large as was the bed, which was firm but comfortable. It is in a valley at the end of the road; so, it was fairly quiet. Food was nice and staff was nice and helpful.

The whole place looks like it has been closed up for a while and is just being reopened. There were many boxes of delivered items in reception. Internally, things seemed to have been recently painted but the showers pressure was low. Also, I doubt that any man or large woman would have been able to fit between the shower doors to get in. Those that managed it would have difficulty moving in the cubicle. Outside the gardens were being tended to BUT the pool area was closed, with no water even though they advertise it being open. The pool furniture, tables and chairs all need replacing as they are falling apart. The flooring under the pool seating area was cracked and broken.

Lovely warm welcome from the owner who generously provided us with an evening Meal on our first night after we asked if we could eat at the venue. Breakfast was wonderful and plentiful and the staff very friendly. Venue was as described and even though the rain followed us there for a bit, the villa was peaceful, comfortable and very relaxing.

Clean, friendly, quiet

We liked everything about the property. It was clean and the surroundings were beautiful. The food was good and the waitress in the morning and evening was extremely helpful and thoughtful. Breakfast was fresh and delicious. The pool was excellent as snacks were of a high standard. We are finding it difficult to pick out faults.

There were a lot of mosquitos so bring plenty of jungle spray (thankfully the rooms had screens on the windows and balcony door). Maybe just the time of year Bathroom was small, shower cubicle was tiny but we managed by leaving the door open. Minor inconvenience though as everything else excellent

Staff is very friendly and accommodating .
