Beautiful spot & so peaceful

We loved the views and the peace and quiet. The outside of the property looked very picturesque. We loved spending time in the games room, despite the issues. Opening the curtains in the bedroom in the morning was a highlight. Enjoyable walk to the waterfalls. Breathtaking views.

I tried contacting the owner all week but got no reply. He eventually messaged us only an hour and 15 mins before check-in, and this was to tell us the cleaners were running late. Not a good start. The cleaners didn't leave until 4:30. The check-in was supposed to be 3:00! We had to wait outside. Finding the place was a nightmare as the directions were inadequate and inaccurate. Parking is off a dirt track and is not signposted. Very poor. The house was not cleaned very well. There were dead flies all over the bathroom. Also, the windows had been left wide open, allowing lots of flies into the property. A lot of the dishes were dirty in the cupboards as was some of the cutlery. The shower downstairs was dirty. Although the place was tidy, it just didn't feel really clean. The decor inside is very dated. The whole place needs to redecorated and updated to come into the 21st century. We couldn't believe the kitchen. Tiled worktops! These are totally impractical and unhygienic. The WiFi was located in the games room, which is the worst place to have it as signal in the main house is poor. Lighting in the games room was poor, as was the general condition of the place, with wires hanging. Filthy and uncared for. The outside bbq area was terrible. I wouldn't have trusted using these facilities for fear of getting ill. The tiling outside the villa and round the pool is all cracked and desperately needs repairing. The lighting up the stairs was dark and inadequate and frankly dangerous, with a couple of loose steps and they are too close together. In fact, my partner had a fall down those stairs because of these factors. There were cots and high chairs left out despite the fact we had no children. These should have been put away for our visit. The pool was freezing cold and virtually unusable. There were about a dozen light switches at the front door. Can they not be labelled? The front door desperately needs a handle.

Away from commercial areas - in the countryside with walking possible fro the house - very relaxing.

A bit tired and a number of areas could do with being updated/upgraded. Greater provision of kitchen equipment / utensils etc would be good .

the house is very comfortable, nicely arranged. the location is very nice, fantastic landscape in the foreground and background, very quiet, and trekking route is just there! the host is super kind and available.

There is anything you need for the perfect holiday with family. Not easy to find a location where you can do barbecue and same time have fun in the jacuzzi with the family. Definitely will come back.

Everything is perfect.

Lovely peaceful location. Spacious rooms. Complimentary Chocolates and a bottle of wine on arrival was a nice touch.

More cutlery would have been useful. Salt and pepper would have been appreciated. Washing up liquid was not supplied. The hot tub took 48 hrs to heat up and leaked as the bung was missing so we had to improvise. The shower ran cold after one use on the first morning. The property needs some repainting as tired in places.
