Lily Bank Cottage

I like the idea of a little fire place in the room. My wife and I stayed here and it was a very cozy room. Bathrooms are clean.

The road to the place is down a very steep hill. Accessing it the first time is a bit daunting.

Beautiful spot in the hills. Really friendly and helpful hosts and staff. Great hot shower and bathroom very clean

There was construction going on outside all day which was very noisy and sometimes uncomfortable to be around. Bad WiFi.

Very beautiful place to stay, only you may need assistance from the owner, so you can message them with your arrival time and they are happy to help you.

Host was nice and helpful, the breakfast was amazing, room was nice with a nice a bathroom.

Everything was great. We loved our stay. It feels like a home, surrounded by nature, the place has a great energy. It was extremely clean, the bed comfortable, nice garden (especially when the sun comes in the morning). Breakfast was delicious. We also enjoyed a sri lankan dinner cooked by the owner, it was very tasty and you could sense how fresh the ingredients are. The owner was very friendly, polite, always making sure we have everything we need. He also helped us to organize our day trip. We will be back!

Have to admit that I was pleasantly surprised by this accommodation. Spacious room, great bed, enough blankets to be warm as it gets chilly in Nuwara Eliya, great bathroom and hot shower. I believe it to be the best accommodation I have had in Sri Lanka thus far. It is a bit away from the town center and uphill, but going down there is a good shortcut so you can walk the distance in 10mins. Going back from town it is a quick and inexpensive tuktuk ride away. Great breakfast too. All in all - a really great stay.

Convenient

Place was superb and very calm place. Customer service is good and they were very kindly served to us. Foods were delicious. The place was much budget when compare to the facilities in the room. Recommended to visit that place for spent the vacation.
