Location, value for money, clean, available parking

No staff, no instructions for checking in, although paid in advance we were not expected. Had to call to get pin and instructions to enter. Owner did not know what type of room we booked. Fridge unplugged. Shower drain in our ensuite bath room was blocked and we had to switch off shower to prevent flooding.

logement très cosy et propre dans un bâtiment typique restauré avec goût. Cuisinette à disposition. village charmant à l'écart de Merida, mais le rapport qualité/prix vaut le voyage en voiture.

pas grand reproche à faire, même si c'est un peu écarté

Wunderschönes, sauberes Appartment mit Küche zum Gebrauch für Alle. Check-in hat gut geklappt. Praktisch für Pilgerer. Nahe vom Zentrum. Sehr gerne kommen wir wieder.

"Stay in April"

Right on Camino in lovely little town near a good bar which did dinner and breakfast. Kitchen available in the property.

We sent our arrival time through Booking.com and didn't hear anything. We got no instructions about what to do when we got there, nor any WhatsApp messages. Needless to say the place was locked with no sign of life. A lovely lady who happened to be walking by phoned the number on our phone to tell the owner we were there. Our basic Spanish would never have coped with the instructions over the phone. Not only was no 8 (where the sign was) not were we were staying. It was apparently no 2, 4 doors up. The poor passer by had to cope with the lockbox and also had to show us which our room was. The owner clearly had no intention of appearing! This was absolutely not good enough. The room was cramped and the bed I was in creaked terribly at the slightest movement, as well as being very hard. If you want to book make sure you speak fluent Spanish or that you have been sent instructions. I wish I'd read the other reviews before booking! However another pilgrim had been sent a WhatsApp message, albeit for the wrong house and the owner had done his washing, so perhaps we were unlucky!!

Sehr freundlicher Empfang. Meine Pilgerwäsche wurde unverzüglich und kostenlos gewaschen und zum Trocknen aufgehängt. Gute Kommunikation über WhatsApp.
