Stone Paradise Homestay

Wonderful homestay a short distance out of Sapa. Our host, Hieu, is a very talented sculpter and photographer and was super helpful and welcoming. His wife and 3 children all made us feel welcome in their lovely house. We ate with the family on 2 nights and the food was great. On our second morning it was sunny so we had breakfast on the upper terrace with views of Mount Fransipan. Hieu gave us lots of advice about hikes and sightseeing trips. I highly recommend this homestay.

This quaint property is located in a quiet neighbourhood, away from hustle of sapa and very close to many villages. Owner Hieu and his family are very sweet. We were almost hotel stuck due to fog and rain, but didn’t feel bored at all, but felt comfortable with hot tea, bed warmer and sweet people. Stone carving activity by Hieu is very engaging. Will recommend this place definitely. Good value for money.

The service of the host is excellent 👍 And he even helped us with the tourist spots that we can visit . Felt really cozy comfortable with the place and I’ll definitely come back again for the service ❤️

The host & family were warm & hospitable. Loved their fireplace. They provided us heated blankets which came in very useful in this cold period. We made some lovely friends from France, US, who were staying there at same time. We had sturgeon hot pot together with rest in our first night. That was a highlight!

Beautiful stay. Warm rooms even when we stayed in the middle of winter! Beautiful location for us, a bit out of town but felt so homey. We needed a bit of a reset in Sapa, and this place was perfect. If you stay, definitely partake in the “Family Dinner” this was absolutely incredible. Everything was 100/10. They did our laundry, organised motorbike rentals, and had delicious coffee and food.

Amazing hosts, were very friendly and helped us with everything including local villages to visit, taxis and Fansipan booking!

LOVED our stay, either side of an overnight trek - enjoying family hotpot the first night & watching Vietnam win the ASEAN Cup with Hieu the second - both hugely memorable. A world away from busy/touristy Sapa. Thank you!!

Our family had a fantastic time here. We were looked after well and the host was able to help us with trekking, motorbikes and suggesting activities. We enjoyed dinner with the family each night and felt so welcome in their home. We would highly recommend to other families!

Hieu, the host is awesome! He and his family will goto lengths to make your stay comfortable. We enjoyed sitting by the fireplace and sipping tea with him. He is a great cook so don’t miss out on eating with him and his family. We enjoyed our stay. He even arranged us with bikes and tickets to Fancipan. Hieu is the best. Book this place without hesitation.

Although we had heated beds but would have loved if the room had a heater. But rest everything was great.
