Back o' the Moon Holiday cottage

Location is close to the shops and restaurants. The cottage is in a quiet street.

The two single beds in the outside room were exceptionally uncomfortable. Possibly to the point of being broken. We had a little resident mouse that enjoyed our rolls. The bathrooms are in the main house, so if you are sleeping in the main bedroom, you need to go outside to go back inside to get to the bathrooms, which is quite chilly during the winter in the middle of the night.

A beautiful little cottage with old-world charm. We felt like we were transported back in time. Norma is an absolute gem too!

Norma is so welcoming and friendly. She was so nice to allow us to leave our luggage there until the race was finished. Cozy house, appreciated all the old furniture. Lots of warm blankets. Loved the fireplace! Pretty surroundings!

Quaint country cottage that offers the quintessential hogsback experience. Comfortable, practical and rustic in the best way possible. Will be back.

So authentically presented, sweet little cottage, well preserved. Awesome garden to stroll around with berry bushes and a dam as well as monkeys and parrots in the tall trees surrounding the cottage

Floors can be slippery so just beware of traction on feet. Lighting in one room a bit dim, could do with a 2nd option off the wall perhaps.

Quaint, the cottage itself is beautiful and is set in a gorgeous garden - all of which we had to ourselves. It was a step back in time. Exceptionally clean and our host Norma was so sweet.

Honestly nothing. I thoroughly recommend this place.

Norma the host has been exceptionally kind and welcoming. The cottage is utterly charming and the gardens around the house are extraordinary. I would definitely come back.
