"Very, very restful."

The hotel is family run and they are all friendly and helpful. The room I had was sumptuous with a lovely bathroom.

The only thing that was poor was the breakfast toast. Better bread is needed.

"Relaxing quality hidden gem super staff"

St Nicholas House is an absolute hidden gem! We stayed in the family room for a business trip and were blown away by the warm, welcoming atmosphere. It was such a lovely surprise to be greeted by their gorgeous dogs – so friendly and no bother at all. The hosts couldn’t do enough for us; genuinely pleasant, accommodating, and made us feel right at home. We also had the chance to stay in the junior suite – just wow! Hands down the best night’s sleep we’ve had in ages. Breakfast was included and absolutely beautiful – the perfect start to the day. We’ll definitely be returning. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a special place to stay.

Staying here was a very civilised, peaceful and enjoyable experience. The hotel is set in a quiet rural environment with big, comfortable, clean rooms and courteous caring host and hostess. It is all that is best in traditional British accommodation.

"Lovely stay and lovely hosts."

Property was well presented and hosts were very welcoming. Rooms are very large and homely. Would definitely recommend.

Was a little out the way for the concert we went to at Sandringham but would definitely stay again.

"Great one night stay in a lovely grand old country house."

Lovely one night stay. Room was quiet and comfortable, bathroom and shower were good, breakfast was lovely in a sumptuous grand room and the owners were so helpful. Hotel building full of character.
