Pillows a bit hard had a sore neck in the morning would still come back with my own pillow.

Lovely building. Friendly staff.

Comfortable bed. Nice breakfast particularly enjoyed the fresh fruit. Good car park. Ideal location for me.

Steps to huge bathroom raised concern at night but I managed thanks to rails.

Fantastic having an in-house restaurant and bar. The dinner menu is varied, food tasty and delicious pavlova to finish. Their beautiful garden has several nooks and crannies to explore and enjoy. The 2 rooms we were in had their own unique character and style in keeping with the age of the property. Our hosts were very hospitable and friendly.

Lovely old property with plenty of character set in a garden you could really enjoy. Plenty of places to sit comfortably and relax and enjoy a drink. Dinner and breakfast were excellent. This family run business offers everything you could possibly need in a warm friendly environment.

Erg vriendelijk. Ook leuk dat er 3 generaties aanwezig zijn. Ontbijt wordt naar wens gemaakt.

Niets viel tegen omdat je van een oud herenhuis mag verwachten dat niet alles recht of correct sluit.

The location was lovely & easily accessible from the road, whilst remaining peaceful. The hotel was privately run & the owners very friendly, nothing was too much trouble. We were welcomed warmly. The building was lovely & retained many of its original grand features. Our small suite had comfortable beds and good quality soaps etc in the bathroom. The breakfast was extensive, with fresh fruit, cereals & a full cooked option.

There was no allowance for vegetarians, just the standard option, minus the meat.

Nice feel in keeping with the character of the property. Although on a main road the secondary glazing works well so virtually no noise from the road and a good sleep. There is also plenty of parking. Very accommodating family, good and tasty breakfast and a nice bar area with good quality drinks and a bar menu if required. We took advantage of a family room which accommodated our adult son in what was like a snug, giving him a little privacy and space of his own. We would definitely book again if in the area.
