Lovely staff, beautiful old property, really good breakfast

The bed was not great, rather uncomfortable

Historic property in a perfect location for exploring the area. Many interesting sites within 30-40 minutes. The host gave us many suggestions as well as provided a folder packed with information about the county. A bit off the beaten path but absolutely worth a visit especially if you like walking, hiking and biking. We enjoyed learning about the history of The Royal Canal as well as a long walk around a peat bog.

Beautiful manor gracious host, comfortable room, great breakfast

Firstly it was really near to Centre parcs where we had visited that day. It's in a beautiful setting with wonderful views. We had a lovely stay, the staff were so accommodating, the house itself was really impressive and the breakfast was delicious. We really enjoyed our stay.

Linda, the host, was lovely and easy to talk to. She made us feel very weclome and the place is just so romantic and beautiful. Breakfast was lovely and included. Do recommend

FYI- there’s a light blinking in the hallway between the two rooms

Breakfast took a bit too long to get ready. We had to wait approx. 30 minutes.
