Eagles' Call Cottages and Tent

The view was very beautiful.Waking up to the birds was something to hear.

The photos are not updated and the walk up is very steep and slippery. The toilet did not flush properly and the gas in the shower was leaking.On our second night the whole floor was moving from the wind and thus no proper sleep was in the cards for us.We did not feel safe at all and the floor only had vertical beams and no supporting beams(thus the moving) we only slept there for 2 nights and were grateful when the nights were over.The owner also had a no-care attitude when we informed her of the problems.In my opinion was this a waste of hard earned money.

I loved it! I had a solo "eat, pray, love" journey all by myself. It really centered myself and brought me back down to reality. I was bird watching every day, coloured in and just chilled.. Things I never do. But it's sooo peaceful there. Definitely does clear your mind. Making this a yearly mission.

It was a stunning view over the seas and the forest. We loved the atmosphere there! Thandi visited us to say hello and it's such a cute dog. The sky is amazing at night.

Beware of the monkeys in the forests they came often to us. And there are big spiders but they aren't dangerous - it's Africa! And you're in the nature so notice that

We are so thankful that you went out of your way to make our stay amazing. Thank you also to Thandi for her beautiful gifts that she brought us on each visit. Thank you also to Frank for his super friendliness and for his help with our great trek, it was so appreciated.

The amazing view and quiet seroundings

A very peaceful stay to start our December holiday. A well equipped chalet with plenty of natural light. Lovey deck for morning coffee and rusks. Well positioned braai area under the trees. Use of the swimming pool area was a big plus and the kids loved Thandi’s (the dog) daily visits. Pleasant drive on gravel road along the vleis to Wilderness. Close to bird hides and hiking trails. We heard the eagle’s call most days of our stay.

Cottages need some care/maintenance, but nothing that would spoil your stay
