Lairds Lodge Country Estate

The room was excellent as was the food. The service was exceptional and special thanks to Deputy who was brilliant! It is a little piece of tranquil paradise.

The lodge is lovely and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are very tastef ully decorated although some form of net curtaining would be helpful. We had someone staring into our room opposite the second pool, while we were getting changed. Not everyone has the manners to avert their gaze and love a good stare.

The pool area is very pretty however the sun loungers are rather uncomfortable. The food is delicious and very well presented, however slightly more choice on the al a carte menu would have been nice. We would have eaten in a few more times but found the menu rather restrictive

Nice traditional location with a beautiful garden in a peaceful area between Knysna and Plettenberg Bay. Very nice breakfast and dinner. Supportive and friendly staff.

Preis-Leistung ist am oberen Ende für ein zwar wunderschönes Hotel, dessen Einrichtung in der Zwischenzeit etwas in die Jahre gekommen ist.

It is a beautiful estate in an excellent location - so much to do just a short drive away. The smiling staff are exceptional and nothing is too much trouble. The meals are all delicious and the breakfast is amazing.

It was a little cold but the weather was extremely icy during our stay. The staff did everything to make us comfortable - organising an extra heater and providing hot water bottles.
